The panelling is designed to provide sound absorption and also to provide an aesthetic backdrop. Providing timber slatted panels to the Chapel was the most challenging element. The back wall to the chapel was curved and incorporated windows – The timber slatted panels in this area were predominantly built on site with each slat fitted individually.
