The Computational Foundry based at Swansea University’s Bay Campus will transform Swansea, West Wales and the Valleys and the nation as a global destination for computational scientists. The Foundry will establish an internationally renowned, digital ecosystem for world-class computational science research that brings together interdisciplinary research and addresses grand challenges for the economy and society under the three themes of Sustaining Life; Enhancing Life; and Securing Life.

AAS working with M and P contractors supplied over 600m2 of slatted oak panels to create a stunning Atrium as well as the ceilings in both the circulation spaces and the networking area. The panels were 44 mm x 19 mm oak slats set 32 mm apart to help absorb the sounds in the open plan areas.
